When working with individual clients I set very specific objectives that relate to athletic performance, physical capacity, and technical advancement.
My long term goal is to enable every client to enjoy a lifelong positive and rewarding relationship with exercise and the conditioning process. Exercise should be an automatic and intrinsically enjoyable pastime. By focusing on consistent practice, the progressive acquisition of skill and the value of good health, a permanent workout habit can be formed and maintained.
My methods include the use of weightlifting, calisthenics and endurance training.

Method,
I work in six week training blocks.
Every new client is required to commit to a minimum of one block.
Clients attend one or more coached sessions each week.
In addition to the coached sessions full weekly workout programming is provided.
Adherence to specific health and lifestyle interventions is also mandatory (see examples below).
Objectives and programming.
Below is an example overview of the specific programmed elements that I include for all clients.
Weekly training commitment,
3 hours of endurance training.
2 hours of coached strength & conditioning.
Daily lifestyle tasks (mandatory).
Sample objectives (most clients are expected to achieve),
Sub 20 minute 5k (run, row erg, ski erg).
Strict ring muscle up (1 rep minimum).
1.5 x body weight dead lift (3 reps).
Sample mandatory lifestyle interventions,
40 day alcohol abstinence (this is always a mandatory element for all new clients on commencement of training).
1.6 g/kg body weight protein intake.
UPF (ultra processed foods) cut.
